Our daughter Carri Leigh Goodwin served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2007 til 2009. While at Camp Pendleton she was drugged, raped and beaten by her superior officer on more than one occasion.

When she finally had the courage to report it, she was put on antidepressants, forced to be on restrictive duty, threatened, then finally received an Bad Conduct Discharge. She was then sent home to Ohio by Greyhound bus in February with no warm clothing. Her family had no idea what had happened to her, or about the medication she was being forced to take(mandatory refill per U.S. Marine Corps).  Six days later, she died of a toxic mix of meds and alcohol. Carri had just turned 20 six weeks earlier.  Since that time, her father Gary Noling has been fighting to have the SDD Form 293 changed, but to no avail.
