With the upcoming weekend, holidays and Bayshore gate closure nearly upon us, we hope you have a much safer and quieter time with your loved ones! We are grateful for your help and support getting the Bayshore gate hours reduced. 

Colonel Bingham released a PSA on the MacDill Air Force Base’s Facebook page titled ‘Respect for Our Neighbors’, which you can view by going to their Facebook page.

Please take a moment to ‘love, like and comment’ your appreciation for Col. Bingham and his team taking a stance towards protecting our residents and community. We are certain this decision has not been a popular one among all base personnel, so sharing our appreciation of the changes implemented thus far would be greatly appreciated. It is another win and step forward!  

Please continue to provide the link to the petition as you see people out and about. We would love to regain some traction and increase petition numbers once the hustle and bustle has passed. 

We are still communicating with officials to determine the next steps and are requesting a meeting with Mayor Castor to assist us with making Bayshore Boulevard (SoG) and connecting neighborhood streets safer, less congested and noisy.  It is time for the City of Tampa to implement change for what falls within their power and responsibility.
