Dave Armstrong a helicopter pilot in Kaikoura New Zealand rescued an injured hunter on the edge of a 50 metre drop in remote bush north of Kaikoura in April 2014. He is being prosecuted by New Zealand authorities because at the time of the rescue his licence was suspended. Authorities have a discretion whether to prosecute and this petition calls on the Civil Aviation Authority to withdraw the charges in the public interest.
