Energy Mornings with Sarah & Tyler think it’s fair to say that people at the hospital or going to the hospital shouldn’t have to pay for parking.

Collin Kennedy was a Winnipegger who battled cancer for 19 years. Over the course of his treatment, he had to pay so much for parking.

To stand up against paying for parking at hospitals in Winnipeg, he ended up making a statement by putting foam into the machines. Unfortunately, he passed away in B.C where he moved with his family last year.

Now is our chance to remember him, and put an end to paying at hospitals for parking. Many hospitals have already put this into practice (example: Delta, BC)… So why hasn’t Winnipeg?
