PLEASE do not destroy 2 healthy live oak trees!

There are 2 healthy live oak trees in the median on Shore Drive at Indian Hill Road at Baylake Pines that are planned to be destroyed.

There is a controversial City of Virginia Beach(COVB) Traffic Plan to add what many believe is an unsafe, unnecessary westbound left turn lane.

Friends of Live Oaks(FOLO) strongly believes the COVB should consider early in the process the City Tree, the valuable Live Oak - when various City Departments are considering the destruction of healthy live oak trees.

If it’s impossible to eliminate the currently proposed controversial westbound left turn lane on Shore Drive & Indian Hill - FOLO respectfully requests COVB works with us to transplant the 2 healthy live oaks to a location they will not be destroyed.
