The city of University Park has a number of ordinances for pet owners which help protect the safety of our pets and families, however there is an epidemic of wild coyotes which are allowed to roam free through our neighborhoods. Our pets (cats) are being eaten alive and nothing is being done to stop it. We spend money on the license requirements to live in UP and yet our beloved pets are being destroyed.City of University Park MUST stop this by trapping all coyotes or simply killing them. Regardless, the neighborhood is not safe. First cats, then small dogs, then what is next? Tragedy.
