A recent survey was conducted among Davis Islands residents and it was found that the majority of residents of Davis Islands are in favor of the utilization of golf carts as a form of transportation because it is cleaner for the environment, saves energy, reduces fossil fuel consumption, is an affordable method of transportation, and provides traffic calming effects in an area that is experiencing frequent speeding and reckless use of automobiles.
