Friends, it is because of you that we have held off the tower construction for 3 years.
The new development here is the discovery that Verizon is engaged in discharging tons of toxic microplastics into Lake Tahoe disintegrating from their macro camouflaged monopine towers, with the full knowledge and support of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA). This action was essentially ratified by TRPA in a hearing on March 23.

These camouflaged towers shed approximately 2 tons of plastic waste annually and the TRPA has approved over 20 here in the tahoe basin. Accounting for 40 tons of plastic waste.
The TRPA goes against their own compact, rules and the new ordinance on cellular infrastructure. They have not even requested any environmental reports which are required within our federally protected home of Lake Tahoe and it’s uniquely diverse ecosystem.
We are battling yet still and will see our day in court. What can you do? A contribution of as little as $5-$10 would mean so much.
