Thanks everyone for your awesome support for pollinators! We now have over 4000 signatures and more than 20 key organizations and businesses signed on to our petition. And there's great news: The City of Seattle PLUS (Planning Land Use and Sustainability) committee is holding a public hearing on key issues including our neonicotinoid resolution! The hearing is at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday September 16 in the Bertha Knight Landes room at City Hall, 600 4th Avenue downtown. We'll deliver our petitions and letters of support, and testify on behalf of bees and other pollinators. You can sign up to comment if you arrive before 5:30 p.m. Here's to a Bee Friendly Seattle!
