By some obscure city code, membrane structures (La Vetta’s igloos) are not allowed on rooftops that are above 55 feet above ground. They have been proven to be safe, fire rated, sound, stable, and entertaining. Not only are people not able to enjoy this unique experience, but without the business that the igloos bring in, some employees will be forced to look for other sources of income as they rely on this job to put bread on the table for their loved ones.
