3600 signatures and counting- paper and online versions combined
May 16, 2017 — If there was ever a doubt how much this community cares I wish to share this with you... tonight Bridget and I entered 1/4 of the paper petition signatures into an Excel spreadsheet- we entered 500 signatures. I ran a pivot table on those postal codes when we reached 430 and I had approx. 350 unique postal codes. These signatures represent citizens from across this city and the numbers are only growing. Between this online petition and the paper signatures we have already collected, we have at present 3600 signatures in support of finding an alternate location for the proposed bus service yard for BC Transit with more yet to funnel in. Levi, please work with us to find a more suitable site in an existing industrial area- show our community that BC Transit supports choices that are liveable, sustainable, healthy options for the citizens it serves.
