First Day of School! HeLLo!!!

So Global News came by this morning to do a follow-up on the crosswalk story. You know, it being the first day and all. And while there are no beautiful stripes to admire just yet out in front, there has been stuff happening behind the scenes. I have been in regular contact with Westmount's Director of Public Works since the petition happened and things have been moving along slowly, but surely. The dry, boring stuff like studying the dossier, analyzing data, submitting the report to vetting bodies (Hey, sounds like my job!), etc. The good news is that Westmount is at the final stage of the process and all that's left to do is schedule a Paint Nite with the contractor. As per the news story: maximum two weeks! Very exciting indeed. So stay tuned and make sure to jaywalk safely until then!
