"As you may already be aware, on September 12th, the Committee of Adjustment unanimously refused this application. The official decision of the Committee will be mailed out on Monday, September 23th, 2019. The official mailing will be sent to the applicant and to anyone who provided an individual written comment regarding the application (signatures on petitions will not be circulated) or who requested a copy of the final decision.
From the official date of mailing, there is a 20 day appeal period regarding the Committee’s decision in which the applicant can file an appeal with the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal or LPAT. In this instance the last day of appeal is October 14th, 2019. If an appeal is filed, those who were circulated the decision of the Committee, will also receive notice of an appeal. From that point on, formal communications regarding these applications and any future hearing or applicable matters will come from the LPAT offices and I will also continue to keep you updated." - Karen Ras
