Upcoming new campaign
We are also going to release a new update campaign outlining the "10 points of why the Yarraville Polka dot installation is an epic fail".
Over the 10 points:
- A fatal safety risk
- Mass confusion about right of way
- Poor project evidence
- No public consultation prior to implementation
- Children see a play area
- Does not support local business during the covid-19 recovery
- Does not understand the existing unique challenges of Yarraville
- No project transparency
- Does not support local families during the covid-19 recovery
This will be 10 graphics will be accompanied by facts, community statements and evidence (and more) about the 10 key areas of failure, which in total make up the core of why the Polka dots are a total failure and danger.
These 10 points will clearly dissect the project case and clearly refute council responses on their FAQ page, and cut through the councils' basis of these installations - and embarrassingly expose (yet again) the level of poor project planning and implementation in this situation.
