Attention All Residents of Highton!

Japara Healthcare have proposed a 136 bed Aged Care Facility with 41 car spaces to be built at 297 - 307 Roslyn Rd.

This is out of character for this area and will place enormous strain on local residents, parents and the school community.

This development will increase traffic congestion for residents, parents and children. The development will be a safety risk to children at the nearby Highton Primary School and kindergarten (100m away). The development will create parking hazards for residents and parents alike.

The City of Greater Geelong are considering this proposal at a special meeting on 23 Aug 18. 

By signing this petition, you agree that this development should be scaled back by at least 50%, with more provision for on-site parking, or reconsidered altogether (back to the drawing board!!).
