Will Folsom pursue road following maintenence 8/1/16?

The entire sewer line along Hinkle Creek was successfully cleaned and camera inspected August 1st and 2nd and found to be in very good shape. The contractor selected by the City of Folsom to do the job was Coastline Water Resources. Last year, they cleaned the equivalent of the entire sewer system for the City of Folsom and for cities in the Bay Area. They are also the prime contractor for the cities of Rancho Cordova and Citrus Heights. During the two days, they repeatedly remarked about how much better our lines looked than those in the Bay Area. A representative of the Hinkle Creek Work Group, spent all day both days working alongside the Coastline and City of Folsom crews to better understand the methods used in maintaining this line. The information that he has gathered will be incredibly important as we move forward in discussion with the city. The fight to stop a road from being built in Hinkle Creek Nature Area is not over. We need to review the results of the camera inspection with the City of Folsom officials and discuss how they plan to proceed. We will continue to keep you updated.
