Thank you to everyone who has so far supported our petition to stop the development of the last remaining greenbelt in Southeast Edinburgh, at Brunstane. Over 250 people have now signed this in less than a week! Constantly receiving email objections to the proposed development will really show the Planning Committee the strength of feeling that’s out there - not only in communities neighbouring the area concerned, but across Edinburgh and the Lothians - and give Councillors real food for thought in advance of their meeting to consider the Local Development Plan 2. We mustn’t rest on our laurels, however, as much still needs to be done to save Brunstane’s greenbelt from development. Please spread the word amongst your family, colleagues and friends, and let’s try and make it 500 signatures (at least) before the Planning Committee meets in May!
