We would like if everyone could enjoy the Davis holidays, including the fireworks display. The loud sounds of fireworks are not the most joyful part of the display- we have the technology to enjoy fireworks without the risk of:

-Triggering people with PTSD

-Exacerbating tinnitus

-Scaring pets

-Scaring wildlife

-Waking sleeping babies

-Triggering children with sensory sensitivities

With enough support, the people of Davis can influence a change to silent fireworks and make the holidays more enjoyable for everyone. We urge the City of Davis Chamber of Commerce to make this change for the betterment of our community.
