Success! Council is taking action on Flinders Street

From Alison Breach, Coordinator Public Places at Darebin Council: "Thank you to those who participated in the discussion during Council’s consultation process on 3rd October. The consultation yielded a strong preference for Council to commence a design and consultation process to seal Flinders Street. A design and consultation process to formalise and seal Flinders Street will be undertaken during October 2017 – June 2018 for proposed construction in the 2018-2019 financial year, pending budget availability. Council will undertake investigation of the site specific conditions on this section of Flinders Street and use that information to create design options for what Flinders Street could look like if it were sealed."
