Rusty’s case will be discussed in the City Council’s closed session on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, and he needs YOUR support!
**ACTION REQUEST** Call or email your Dallas City Council member NO LATER THAN MARCH 19 at 3 p.m. and encourage them to:
A. Withdraw the appeal to the Texas Supreme Court and allow Dallas Pets Alive’s appeal to the County Court at Law to proceed.
-or-
B. Withdraw the appeal to the Texas Supreme Court and enter into an agreement with Dallas Pets Alive to remove Rusty from the City of Dallas. (This is an option similar to the actions taken by the City of Frisco after Cowboys player Dak Prescott’s dog a neighbor’s finger, causing her to lose the digit.)
2019 is an election year for each council member, and the voices of their constituents matter more now than ever! We have the support of a few council members but we need ALL DALLAS PET ADVOCATES to contact their council members & encourage them to DROP the city’s appeal to the Texas Supreme Court.
