Victory in 2026!

Dear Supporters,

We did it! Thanks to your dedication and voices, I am thrilled to officially declare victory for our I Love Jazz petition.

Because 650 of you stood up to demand a place for jazz music in the Dallas Arts District, we have sent our official petition directly to the governing organizations and decision-makers we set out to reach. Every single one of you will also be receiving an official copy of our finalized petition for your records.

While securing jazz events in the Arts District is a massive win, this is just the beginning.

We are now taking our advocacy to the next level. We aren't just pushing for occasional events—we are fighting for dedicated, permanent spaces to present live jazz. Beyond the Dallas Jazz Collective, our goal is to unlock potential across the city by transforming underutilized areas—including unused basements and historically overlooked spaces within existing venues—into vibrant hubs for local music.

Thank you for your overwhelming support and for believing in this movement. Please stay tuned for updates as we move into this next phase of advocacy!

With gratitude,
Jason Davis Sr.
