The below under signed respectfully request that the City of Cockburn, Minister of Infrastructure, Heads of Main Roads and Public Transport Authority are to arrange an urgent meeting to discuss and agree to provide an improvement to the Frankland Avenue/Hammond Rd/Russell Road intersections, with the commencement of construction being implemented before the new Aubin Grove Train Station is opened.

Constituents within this region, since land was first released, have suffered significant and ongoing traffic issues in the area.  The heavy constant flow of traffic effects residents who live on streets that were not designed for significant traffic volume currently experienced. With the imminent opening of the train station and the increase of traffic likely to be experienced in the area, safety has also become a high priority to residents.

To improve this intersection, we believe that opening Frankland Avenue to Russell Road and the construction of either a roundabout or traffic lights will allow traffic to flow more effectively and safely in the area.
