Contact from the City

The folks at City Hall have been in touch and state that they're aware of the issue, and ready to start planning for a new playground. However, there is not a budget in place for this work, and they are informing me that another neighbourhood would lose its park funding for 2018 if we were bumped up. I believe that given the exceptional circumstances of this, that our City needs to respond in kind and find extra budgetary allowances to respond to this outside of their set budget for Parks this year. We need a clear message that our City will not allow its residents to go without a park because of vandalism!
