I find it reprehensible that a city like Barrie, a waterfront city, with its high taxes and bursting population has not placed water or washrooms in one of its most beautiful parks, Sunnidale.  There was a large operation to update the playground area, the arboretum is stunning, hundreds of people arrive on weekends to picnic and enjoy themselves yet they are forced to line up for portable toilets and must bring bottled water!!  I was there this last weekend and the recycling bins were so full that they were overflowing!!  Lets try to get the city to give us water and washrooms!!  The site of the old playground might be a good spot.  Is it too much to ask that we enjoy this resource like civilized humans?  We could even take it a step further and give the kids a splashpad!!  What is the reasoning behind making us pollute the landfills with water bottles and send our children into portable toilets??
