Petition against the presence of halfway house on Herald St, E Union Ave and Tribune st in Redlands, CA.

   Recently, a five-member family including three kids has been kicked out from a house which they have been renting for more than 10 years. The reason for that was to house ex-criminals associated with serious crime. However, this neighborhood has worked hard to build itself into a safe, residential area for families to grow and prosper. We want to keep it like that!

A halfway house would, but not limited to:

·         threaten the neighborhood from flourishing. 

·         jeopardize the safety that is currently felt by the residents of this neighborhood.

·         Would lower the values and standards that we have.

Also: in that area there are two schools in less than a mile and one more less than two miles.

Instead of letting to fill the houses with rehabilitating criminals without having to tell you anything and you only find out when the trouble starts and by then, it’s too late, please express your opinion while or not signing the petition.
