Keep the Trees and save the Wildlife within them

Keep the Trees and save the Wildlife within them

A new Site of 36 Dwellings has been proposed at the Former Gorseinon Business Park, West Street.
While we are not against the site it's self, there is a row of Trees that line the fence that separates Bryn Gwyn Village and the new site.
The plans on line appear to show the Trees removed and in their place a Flood Plane. These Trees are home to a range of Wildlife. In the Summer it is full of Butterflies. In the Spring nesting Birds. Bats circle the area around the Trees, probably catching bugs that also live near/in the trees. There is also a Family of Foxes that come from the vicinity of those same Trees. It also provides privacy and a sound barrier from the main road.
We would like to see the trees kept as they are, protected and the wildlife within them protected both during Construction and after. Research would need to take place to find exactly where the Foxes are, Bat boxes need to be in place in the Trees. And the time of year work takes place should also be sensitive to the wildlife cycles during construction.
This petition is to stop the removal of any of the trees that line the fence and to protect the Wildlife within. Please sign and help prevent this from happening. To be clear this is not against the site it's self, just against the removal of the Trees.
