I bet you didn't know locally owned and managed short term rentals in Portland collectively contribute more than $2 million dollars in property taxes yearly. That's the sum total ( minimum) when you add up the taxable value of the buildings where hosts engage in ST renting. Talk about deserving a seat at the table in determining city policy. 

By contrast the Westin Hotel contributes about 1/3 of what we do or 756K in property taxes a year.
