Dear all, On behalf of residents and supporters our friends at HACAN East are continuing the campaign against City Airport’s concentrated flight paths and planned expansion. HACAN East have informed us that the CAA have to review the concentrated flight path decision in 12 months time. A crowdfuding campaign has been launched by HACAN East to gather much needed funds to help finance the continuation of the campaign. We belive we have a real and realistic opportunity to reverse the decision. None of us want plane after plane flying over our homes, schools and places of work. As summer approaches and we spend more time outside the impact of the changes are only going to be magnified. P.S Please note, the concentrated flight paths do not just impact East London, many signaturies of our petition are from outside this area and (despite the name) HACAN East will be campaigning on behalf of these residents too (we have double checked this with Hacan East so those residents from outside of East London can contribute knowing that they will also benefit from the campaign) You can find HACAN East's message below: Dear Supporter, The fight continues against City Airport’s new, concentrated flight paths,that came into force in February. The CAA must review any airspace changes 12 months after implementation, meaning we must begin the work now.
