Latest information on upcoming Citrus County BOCC Open Meeting.

Dear Citrus County Florida Residents, Amy Charley from Citrus County Commission Records promptly returned my call Friday morning 5/3/2019 and she left me a voice message. I called her back early afternoon and we spoke. She said whoever wishes to speak on Tony's behalf must fill out a Speaker Authorization form in order to be approved to speak on May 14, 2019 at the next open BOCC- Board of County Commissioners meeting being held at 1:00 p.m.. Upon entering the County Commissioners meeting room on May 14, 2019 please fill out a form as soon as arriving if you wish to speak. The forms will be near Amy Charley who will be seated at the front next to where the County Commissioners will be seated. I'm sure it will be easy to locate the forms.

Please keep in mind that each speaker is allotted only 3 minutes each to speak to our County Commissioners.

I look forward to seeing many, many of Tony's supporters who have a passion for ending Tony's suffering at this meeting. Whether you plan on speaking or just plan on listening you are welcome to attend this meeting.

Thank you ALL very much for caring about Tony and your desire for Tony's suffering to be brought to an end sooner than later. He has already suffered emotionally for 14 months in solitary confinement...far too long already.  :( Let us hope and pray that the County Commissioners will be able to do something to get the ball rolling so that Tony's Appellate Court case will get immediate action, and hopefully a final adjudication will be made in a prompt manner. However we must keep in mind that Bob Schweickert Jr. from Out Of The Box Rescue who filed the appeal has legal rights to be fairly treated by the court. If Bob S. is not willing to drop the appeal and the judge determines Tony's only option is to be euthanized the court battle could continue with another appeal filed by Bob S. and the case could be dragged on for several more months further adding to Tony's emotional destruction.  :(

If we don't try to make a positive difference for Tony we will not know what the County Commissioners will say and/or do! This is why we should attend the meeting on May 14, 2019 @ 1:00 p.m. at the Citrus County Courthouse located at 110 N. Apopka Ave., Inverness 34450. Let's give it our best shot for the sake of Tony's suffering in solitary confinement! Tony does not have a voice but we do. He needs our voices to be heard, and our physical bodies to be seen in support of him.
