First and foremost, thank you all for taking the time to sign this petition. While my family has known Dewey's story all our lives, it is long past time for his story to be properly honored within the history of America and Golf. Each and everyone of you are a voice, and catalyst, towards making this happen. So what's next? The Citizens' Stamp Advisory Committee will ultimately have to vote on this. There are a number of criteria that they consider. Two of which are: 1) Historical perspective, which I think is well covered. and 2) National interest, which is where all of you come in.
