On this Independence Day, we remember the families- children, fathers, and mothers like Estela Fajardo- who are separated and incarcerated due to our nation's oppressive, exploitative immigration laws. Today we continue to pray and to fight for their freedom and independence, too. With this in mind, please join the Waco Immigrants Alliance and fellow members of the Waco community as we make two stops in downtown Waco- Representative Bill Flores' Office, and the McLennan County Sheriff's Department- to demand freedom for families and accountability from our elected officials. We will meet at Heritage Square in downtown Waco (Austin Ave. and 4th St.) at 8:30 am. At 9am we will march first to Bill Flores' office to deliver post cards for the "Families Belong Together and Free" campaign, and then march down to the Sheriff's Dept to deliver the petition for Estela!!
