The Public Informational Session on Orange County Dinosaur Park is tonight at 7pm at Town Hall (1465 Orange Turnpike, Monroe NY).
With 650 people having signed this petition against the park in under a month's time, please remember to attend tonight's meeting to support your neighbors and voice your opinion to the town. The power we've shown as a community has already enacted changes to the original plans presented by Gold in the March 7th meeting. We've already generated substantial news coverage about this development that was kept largely in the dark. I want to thank the neighbors who worked hard to spread the information by word of mouth alone. Our efforts have been noticed and publicized by the Photo News (among others) three times just this week, where proponents of this park can be seen back pedaling and bargaining. If we continue to present united, we can reshape our identity as a town and show that we are the final voice on what happens to us here, at home.
