It's not "happily ever after" for the Wonder Bar quite yet, but we can all breath a sigh of relief with the unanimous vote from the Plan Commission last night to "Pause without Prejudice".  This means the developer cannot proceed with his development as currently planned.  He may come back with a different proposal that hopefully preserves the Wonder Bar in place.  Thank you SO MUCH for your support and for sharing our petition with your friends.  Your outcry made all the difference in the Plan Commission vote and encouraged Madison Preservationists to file an application for Landmark Status for the Wonder Bar at the 11th hour.  We are not "declaring victory" just yet, but we are a huge step further in the right direction!  This beauty is now nominated for Landmark Status!

The Wonder Bar's application to become a Landmark will go before the Common Council in August.  Check back in for how your can voice  your support!
