Thanks again for supporting our cause!  The growing number of signatures on this petition and your "reasons for signing" comments are truly inspiring and encouraging. We will be sending the signer list and comments to the Plan Commission for their review when they meet to decide on Mr. McGrath's proposal and the future of the Wonder Bar on July 26th.

Please take the time--while there's still time--to send the petition link to as many Madison friends as possible. You might also consider the following actions:

1) Send an email with your thoughts about the proposed building and the demolition of the Wonder Bar to pcomments@cityofmadison.com (Plan) and allalders@cityofmadison.com (Common Council). 
2) Register to attend the Plan Commission on 7/26 at 5:30 PM and share your thoughts in person (virtually). Sign up to attend at https://cityofmadison.com/city-hall/committees/plan-commission/7-26-2021 You must indicate the agenda item and whether you "support," "oppose," or "neither support nor oppose" McGrath's proposed development. You have the option of speaking for up to 3 minutes. (Check the website on Friday when the agenda is likely to be posted.)

If you choose to speak, here are some guidelines: a) Be respectful of Mr. McGrath's proposal; b) Focus on why the Wonder Bar is important to Madison and should be saved.
