Heidi was born at 26 weeks and weighed 1lb 15oz and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy now 11 years old and being restricted to a wheelchair one of the biggest challenges we never thought we would face is being unable to use a public toilet due to lack of adequate facilities.

A basic human right is to be able to access a toilet there would be outrage if you where told oh no sorry you cant use these toilets because you are able bodied! Yet it is perfectly acceptable for children and adults who need a changing places toilets which include a hoist and a large changing table to be told "no sorry you cant use a toilet like everybody else!" How in this day and age is nobody making these changes why arent they law.  Everybody should be able to enjoy a day out with their families without worrying about how they are going to access a bathroom.  This petition is to raise awareness and to encourage local businesses to make the changes needed to make children and adults with the need for these services to feel that they are just as important as everybody else!
