Contradictory statement by CIBIL

In one of my cases, I have email confirmation from one of the banking institutions mentioning that the account is erroneous in my CIBIL report but in the contradictory CIBIL informed me that the information is correct with them. The confirmation email was also forwarded to CIBIL but to my surprise CIBIL did not trust it. Now CIBIL told me to contact the financial institution directly. This raises a serious concerns on correctness of data with them and spoiling credit scores for no reason.
