Making UNM Pollinator-Friendly

The Issue

Bees and other pollinators are essential to the health of our ecosystems. Due to habitat loss and pesticide use, many of these pollinators are facing extreme population decline. We, the students of UNM, want to help protect local pollinators and ensure a healthy future for all. We are advocating for planting pollinator gardens throughout UNM campus and nearby community areas, reducing pesticide use as much as possible, and educating our fellow students and community members on the importance of protecting pollinators' future.
