The Attorney General Christopher Porter has refused to refer the case to the Federal Police stating:

"In relation to your request that the Attorney-General refer your matter to the Australian Federal Police (AFP), it would not be appropriate for the Attorney-General to intervene in this matter or make requests to the AFP on your behalf. As an independent statutory authority, the AFP makes decisions to conduct investigations under Commonwealth law, including decisions regarding the conduct of those investigations, independently of Government."

Instead Porter has referred us back to the Federal Circuit Court complaints procedure which is of course controlled by Alstergren who refuses to cooperate in any way stating:

"The court does not investigate criminal offences. That is a matter for the Police".

The Federal Police tell us they cannot act without a request from the Attorney General.

Clearly the Attorney General is protecting Alstergren.
