David thanks you for your support

Thank you to each and every one of you for signing this petition calling for freedom for my friend David McBride. He is a good man who did the right thing but the government wants to punish him for supposedly compromising national security.

It was recently reported that Attorney-General Christian Porter told parliament that laws that give him the power to stop such a case had never been used before.

Everything about this case is unprecedented. David risked his career to bring the truth to Australians. He spent years trying to raise his concerns through every avenue available internally. Only after failing to break through the culture of impunity, he passed on the information to the ABC. He doesn't deserve to be prosecuted.

Please share this video to keep the issue on the agenda and remind those in power to do the right thing.
