The Sierra Nevada Mountain Range is the water source for over 60% of California yet its rivers are dammed, the forests are dying and oak woodlands are being converted to strip malls. California legislators must take immediate action to save our iconic landscape.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge our leaders to act now by passing legislation that will dramatically increase funding for watershed and forest restoration, protect all remaining free-flowing rivers and protect our remaining Sierra open-space and ranch-lands.
