If this Railway was re-opened it will create jobs and boost the Economy for Stoke-on-Trent and cut Down on Traffic towards Alton and make a better transport service into Alton Towers.
Having this service up and running would make journey times quicker and would generate lots of income it would also create job opportunities across North Staffordshire.
The Churnet Valley Railway (CVR) currently operates a 10-mile heritage railway between Froghall and Ipstones.
If the railway was reinstated and ran from Stoke-on-Trent to Kingsley & Froghall it would not only be a good passenger train service for the local communities but would take the strain off the local roads.
Having a service not only to Alton Towers but also have a service reconnected back up with Leek would be a really useful service and would be very popular.
