HS2 costs are rising day by day. Estimates put the cost at £111bn, that is £5800 for every household in the UK. That is a cost of £400m per mile, the most expensive railway in the world. 

People's homes and lives are being ruined, countless homes are being demolished including a brand new housing development in Yorkshire. 

Along the route, 47 ancient woodlands are to be directly affected and most changed beyond all recognition.
