One of the environmental issues in our school and community is the excessive use and disposal of single-use items such as plastic bottles, cups, food containers, plastic bags, and other disposable materials. Many of these items are used only once before being thrown away, contributing to the growing amount of waste in our surroundings.

This issue is important because the habit of constantly choosing disposable products instead of reusable alternatives can lead to unnecessary waste and make it more difficult to maintain a clean and sustainable environment.

Through my advocacy, “Choose Reuse to Save Our Planet,” I aim to encourage students to reduce their dependence on single-use items by choosing reusable alternatives whenever possible. By developing simple habits such as bringing reusable water bottles, food containers, utensils, and eco-bags, students can contribute to reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.
