As expected, on August 2 Orem City Council voted to put the Orem-only school district question on the November ballot.
For Stronger Together, this means we are now switching gears to a full campaign. We want every voter to vote against Orem creating its own district.
We are asking everyone to donate $35 today. This will go a long way to helping us fund the campaign to say #NoOremDistrict.

—Do you really need money for this, since so many people already oppose an Orem-only district?
We know that the majority of informed residents strongly oppose an Orem-only district, but so many voters still have little knowledge about the issue. It is essential that we educate and encourage people to vote. We need funds to help more people understand that an Orem-only district will be bad for Orem’s kids, residents, and teachers.
—What are donations used for?
Yard signs, mailers, meetings, and other costs of running ST. No leader or volunteer is compensated in any way. We also plan to hire professional assistants where needed.
—What happens if you don’t use all the donations?
After November 8, ST will donate all unused funds to Orem’s public schools.
