Orem friends, thank you for your passion and support on the petition. I presented the petition to Orem City Council at their meeting last Tuesday. It was not well-received by the mayor. You are welcome to keep sharing it, but the reality is that the city is unlikely to change the company who does feasibility study. That said, your signatures matter. Your signatures tell the mayor and city council that you are paying attention and that you have serious concerns. 

Here's an action item for this weekend. Please give feedback directly to the city via the link below that was set up specifically for school district study concerns. Please submit questions that you want the feasibility study to answer. Ideas include tax increases, startup costs for a new district, teacher pay and benefits, Orem's WPU revenue, rebuilding old schools, special ed programs, dual immersion programs, etc. Any question is a good question, especially if it's personal to you. Teacher questions are very important as well.
