Zhang Zhan is gravely ill in prison. She has been on a partial hunger strike since her sentencing trial on 28 December 2020. By then, she had been on a full hunger strike for 6 months.

Zhang Zhan's health keeps deteriorating. She was tied to a bed and force-fed for 11 days in August. She's lost half her body weight. She has not been allowed outside her cell for fresh air and sunshine for months.

Her family has not been allowed to visit her even once since her arrest in May 2020.

Please help Zhang Zhan by sharing this petition widely. Call China to release her on medical parole ASAP. Ensure she receives prompt and adequate medical care. Let her family and lawyers visit her!
