We're taking the fight to our neighbors and making sure CNN hears you!
Jan 7, 2020 —
More than 80,000 of you have spoken, and we’re listening. But are the debate hosts?
To make sure that our next door neighbors at CNN are paying attention, the Children’s Defense Fund installed some window art at our D.C. offices this morning that we wanted you to see.
The hosts of next week’s Democratic primary debate need to know it's on them to break the streak of 20 years since a question about ending child poverty was asked in a debate. Millions of children have struggled with hunger, homelessness, and other hardships since then.
Will you help us get CNN's attention before the next debate? Please click the links below to tweet at Tuesday’s debate hosts, CNN and the Des Moines Register:
.@CNN our country's children haven't had answers in 20 years. That's why I stand with @ChildDefender and @IsraelGlennMN in calling for a #ChildPovertyQuestion in next week's #DemDebate.
.@DMRegister I stand with @ChildDefender and @IsraelGlennMN in calling for a #ChildPovertyQuestion in next week's #DemDebate, because one child born into poverty is a child too many.
