We are excited to announce that our petition has reached 1000 signatures! The petition urges the NHS to recognise myopia as an ocular disease and provide free funding of myopia management for children and better funding for adults with high myopia. 

Thank you to all of you for signing the petition. We always knew this petition would be a "slow burn" and one that would grow slowly over time, so it is great to reach this milestone. We are going to continue as we know this is just the start, so please continue to speak to your friends and family about myopia, myopia management and the importance of lobbying the NHS for better provision.

We are currently conducting a survey to understand awareness of the problem amongst parents, and hope to use this data to raise awareness, because already it is clear, that not enough parents have even heard (or at least taken in) the word.
