On Monday I attended another meeting with the Westminster Autism Commission at Portcullis House. Some good headway made, with me submitting a question for chair of the Commission Barry Sheerman MP to ask in the House of Commons.
The question? It will be tabled in different wording but it is:
Why are Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services turning away self injurious autistic children and teens when according to their own eligibility criteria, they are meant to accept them?
The petition right now stands at 209, 754 signatures.
I spoke about the protest we held and the presentation of the petition to 10 Downing St.
