It 's no secret that for some time there has been an issue going on with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) here in the UK.

This issue has been one with life-threaten-ing consequences for the neurodiver-gent children and young people ac-cessing such services. In particular, Autistic children and young people. 

The issue is as follows; CAMHS have failed, repeatedly, to provide good quality support to Autistic children and young people. 

When CAMHS see "autism" listed on a young person's notes, they will usu-ally turn that young person away from their services.
